We had 180 miles to cover to get to Grand Canyon Resort so we needed a full blown breakfast including the pancakes..
After that it was time to pop in to the local gun store round the corner to check out the merchandise
The man behind the counter ( who was wearing a Glock .40 calibre and also carrying 'another one' ) was very pleased to show us the guns. Including a .44 Magnum revolver which Reg demonstrated. Arizona has the most liberal gun laws in the US but not for tourists and in any case we had to press on and into the rain...
We arrived at Grand Canyon after a cold and very wet journey. Our hotel the Grand Canyon Plaza Resort looked very inviting and the Jacuzzi was spot on for tired and cold feet.
Unfortunately their wi-fi connection is puny so uploading stuff can only be done when no-one else is online.. more (rainy) pictures to follow from the next hotel
