The Long Unwiding Road

Inevitably it was a late night in Vegas but we had to haul out early the next morning because we were heading for Death Vally and because the Sat Nav was telling us it was a 300 mile trip to our next stop at Lone Pine.

Also Alan's bike had developed a bit of an engine stutter ......( A break down in Death Valley might have been interesting )

Anyway Alan programmed in our course and we set off across the desert .....mostly in a straight line.

Along the way passing through a place called 'Pahrump' which had a very strange mixture of things advertised at the roadside. 

We were not tempted by any of these offers and we pressed on for Death Valley
